PENAMPANG: GRS deputy secretary-general Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (pic) has welcomed Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s recent clarification that there are no ongoing negotiations or cooperation between PN and GRS ahead of the 17th State Election.

Armizan said the statement by Muhyiddin has brought much-needed clarity to the political landscape and made it easier for GRS to define its direction.

He expressed gratitude that the rejection came from PN itself, which helped avoid any perception of arrogance had GRS made the move first.

Armizan, who is also Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister, shared these remarks during a press conference after officiating the national-level Consumers’ Festival (ConFest) at ITCC here on Sunday.
