
PENAMPANG: A retired army man died as he lost control of the Toyota Avanza he was driving near a petrol station in Putatan, here, on Monday.
The 56-year-old victim veered the vehicle to the left side of the road towards the city centre in the 7.53 pm incident.
Penampang District Police Chief Supt Sammy Newton said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Queen Elizabeth Hospital medical officers.
