Richard Arnold is leaving Manchester United as chief excecutive officer, it has been reported.
The Sun says Arnold is leaving the post with Patrick Stewart, United's general counsel, to be named interim CEO.
Stewart will work the two roles until a permanent replacement is hired.
Arnold departs as Sir Jim Ratcliffe's purchase of 25 per cent of United is due to be confirmed by the board.
Ratcliffe is expected to appoint Sir Dave Brailsford to take charge of football operations at United.
Arnold was appointed CEO in February 2022, taking over the reins from Ed Woodward.
