Kota Kinabalu: Fan Yuhu, a Chinese national, and his Malaysian wife Gloria Chee Sin Yi, are on a journey around the world in their electric vehicle (EV).
Gloria became the first Malaysian to reach China from Malaysia using the China-made EV they purchased in Selangor in July 2023 for RM172,000.
She covered 25,000 kilometres within eight months travelling to eight countries.
The kindergarten teacher left her job to join her husband on the adventure. Initially, they travelled in a van, but later decided to buy the electric car in Selangor.
