Arrests made in Italy after four people were burned alive in car attack

• Italian police have arrested two people after an attack in Amendolara, Calabria, where four migrant farmworkers were burned to death inside a car.
• Assailants poured liquid into the vehicle at a gas station and set it alight in the attack that was captured on surveillance cameras, with one person seen trying to keep the doors of the car closed.
• The victims included three Afghan nationals and one Pakistani national, all of whom were migrant farmworkers.
• One man managed to escape the burning vehicle and is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at a local hospital.
• Prosecutors in Castrovillari confirmed the discovery of the four bodies on Monday and the subsequent detention of two Pakistani men in connection with the deaths.
