RANAU: An young man was rushed to Ranau Hospital on Thursday evening after a makeshift arrow used for spearfishing accidentally pierced his hand.
The 18-year-old had accidentally pulled the trigger while the arrow was aimed at his right hand.
The fire department said they removed the metal piece using a boltcutter before doctors and nurses treated the victim.
