Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has no concerns handing his players big contracts.
Arteta is confident the huge money on offer for the likes of Bukayo Saka won't blunt their ambition.
He said: For sure, we know with these players their tummies are still very empty...because they haven't won a lot and they want to improve.
"That's part of the reason why we wanted to renew their contracts because we know this is motivating and gives them reassurance.
It acts as an incentive to continue what they're doing. It's not going to stop them wanting to be better and to improve because they're still so young and have so much to do.
