Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has played down injury concerns over Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The Japan defender missed victory at West Ham on Sunday.
Arteta explained, He had a niggle when he came with the national team.
"It was not the moment to risk him after how many minutes he has played."
Tomiyasu returned to London last week after playing in all but one of Japan's Asian Cup games.
