Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is delighted for David Raya after was confirmed this season's Golden Glove winner.
Arteta was speaking after victory over Bournemouth.
He said of his goalkeeper: "We're really pleased. It's a huge success for the team in this league to achieve that with a few games to go still. It gives us a huge foundation to be closer to winning trophies. The contribution from everybody including David obviously, it's really good.
"If we spend money we'd better do it wisely and in the most effective way! We're really happy with the recruitment that we had. It had a big impact in the team, it has raised not only the level of the team but the level of the rest of the players as well. You see today we had some big performances from a lot of individuals.
"If we want to be at that stage you need that."
