Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reaffirmed how happy he is with the signing of Jorginho.
The former Chelsea midfielder is in line for his Gunners debut tomorrow against Everton.
Arteta said today: "We knew in this market you have to adapt and be flexible. You need great characters, leadership in positions.
"I don't think it was that late, but it was very close to the deadline.
"His intelligence, his personality and leadership skill, he understands our way of playing. He fits really well with what I want to do.
"You have to adapt to the circumstances you have, and now we have improved the squad."
