Arsenal chief Josh Kroenke visited the home dressing room after defeat to Manchester City.

As manager Mikel Arteta faced the media, Josh Kroenke - the son of Gunners owner Stan - visited the home dressing room at the Emirates. That's according to the Evening Standard's Simon Collings, who revealed that the American was in attendance to witness the highly-anticipated clash and went into the changing room after the game.

Josh had not been spotted at a fixture since watching the 3-1 victory over West Ham United on Boxing Day. Both Stan and Josh were in attendance, with the game believed to be the first Stan had attended since the pre-season win over Orlando in July.

It's unclear what the meaning behind Josh's visit to the changing room was, but Arteta has previously insisted the relationship between him and the owner is "getting stronger and stronger". Speaking in December, he said: "We are always connected. I think that relationship is getting stronger and stronger. They've been over a few times and we've been there a few times.

"It's a very special relationship right now to understand the way they think about sports, what they've done in other sports and with other franchises. The ambition is there and the alignment is certainly there as well. It's certainly positive to spend some time together.

"It was the time that we had some spare time as well. It was very useful for everybody to do it in that period."
