Arsenal are finalising a deal for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.
Arsenal have had an offer of 40m accepted by Ajax.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting: "Arsenal are getting closer to completing Jurrien Timber deal. Sources feel it will be done next week.
"Negotiations at the final stages since Thursday more positive contacts took place.
"Payment terms being discussed with Ajax and then time for medical."
