Arsenal have been rocked by the news that Jurrien Timber may miss a chunk of the season.
The defender came off during the club's first Premier League game of the season, a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
Now it appears Timber may have an ACL injury to his knee, which would keep him out for many months.
Per the Evening Standard, the Gunners must now decide whether they have to dip back into the transfer market.
Timber was signed this summer by manager Mikel Arteta from Ajax for significant money.
The Dutch defender cost 34.2 million plus add-ons if he performs well in the coming years.
