Arsenal striker Gabriel Martinelli may miss the start of preseason due to his ankle injury.
Martinelli's season is over after an ankle injury suffered against Brighton.
The Brazilian, 21, was forced off after 20 minutes in Sunday's 3-0 defeat after a tackle from Moises Caicedo.
Martinelli left the Emirates in a protective boot and is now facing two months on the sidelines.
It will mean the Brazilian is unlikely to make the start of preseason.
Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest on Saturday and finish at home to Wolves on May 28.
