Arsenal defender Pablo Mari is on the verge of joining newly promoted Serie A side Monza.
Sky in Italy reports that the deal should be completed within the next 48 hours.
Mari will join on the Serie A new boys on a season-long loan.
Monza will have an obligation to buy the Spanish centre-back should they avoid relegation.
The 29-year-old, under contract with the Gunners until June 2024, spent last season in Italy on loan at Udinese.
