The Premier League leaders are set to further enhance their squad for manager Mikel Arteta in the summer.
The club's sporting director Edu stated last month that his work on summer transfers is well underway.
One who could be arriving is Brazilian wonderkid Vitor Roque, whose club Athletico Paranaense responded to speculation about his future recently.
A club director told Globo Esporte: "There's absolutely nothing to it except the pain of people saying that 'he's sold', that 'Barcelona want him'.
"At the right time, if something comes up that the president thinks is worthwhile, then we'll talk. It's worth remembering that we made the biggest investment in our history."
