Arsenal's long-standing pursuit of Brighton's Moises Caicedo could have a positive ending.
The Gunners are hoping to secure the Ecuadorian in the summer, having failed to sign him in January.
Even after making an offer of 70 million for the midfielder, they were turned down.
Now The Athletic's David Ornstein states that both Alexis Mac Allister and Caicedo could have routes out of Brighton.
Ornstein has claimed: It is understood the terms [of Mac Allister's contract] do, indeed, contain a mechanism which can be used to help facilitate a move and that has contributed to the level of interest building to prise Mac Allister from Brighton.
As a result, the situation is not a foregone conclusion although that could well materialise the same applies to team-mate Moises Caicedo but firm decisions are unlikely to be made until the campaign ends."
