Arsenal football chief Edu has continued shaking up his management team.
Ahead of the summer market, the Athletic says Jason Ayto, who was the recruitment coordinator, has been appointed assistant sporting director to Edu.
Meanwhile, James Ellis, a former UK first-team scout, has been named head of recruitment.
Ellis' work in UK-based scouting has Arsenal's number of Premier League-based transfers increase since 2021.
It's suggested Ayto will be driving the process of outgoing transfers.
