Arsenal have made a new offer for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.
The Gunners had a €30m bid for the Argentine last week.
The Daily Mail says they've now returned with a new offer of €40m. Martinez's agents were in England last week for talks with Arsenal.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have agreed terms on a £45m deal for Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus and plan a further meeting with Leeds United this week for Brazilian winger Raphinha.
