Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta concedes that his side were beaten by the better team on Wednesday.
The Gunners suffered a 3-1 home loss to Manchester City in the Premier League.
Despite having more possession, Arsenal were unable to keep City out.
Arteta stated to reporters: "You have to give credit to a team when they beat you but, for sure, when you analyse the game again, I think that we lost it."
He was then asked if this loss motivated Arsenal to get back to winning ways. He stated: "Yes, I think so."
Arsenal take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
