Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hopes the club can sign more Americans in the future.

The Gunners have added Matt Turner as their backup keeper for this coming season.

With the team currently on tour in the United States, Arteta spoke about Turner's arrival and that of Auston Trusty from Colorado Rapids in January.

"We have already one that we just signed [Turner] so it's a good start," the Spaniard told reporters on American transfers.

"Let's see how he adapts but it's a huge market, there are a lot of opportunities there and hopefully we can bring some more to make you happy."
