Arsenal midfielder Jorginho was delighted helping Italy win against Ecuador.
The Azzurri won their friendly 2-0 in the US on Sunday.
Jorginho said: "For me it is truly a pride to be here and represent the country that I love so much and that has made me welcomed.
"I will try to do everything I can to give joy to our people."
Jorginho originally moved to Italy from Brazil before committing to the Azzurri.
