Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is hoping to return to action sooner than expected.
The Ghanaian has been absent for the past couple of weeks due to a groin injury.
After missing the international break and the club's 3-1 win over Manchester United, Partey hopes to be back very soon.
The 30-year-old believes he will be fully fit by October, but the club do not want to rush him.
Partey has been used as a right-back this season as part of a new look formation.
Per the Evening Standard, another who is nearing fitness is Mohamed Elneny.
