Arsenal seriously missed midfielder Thomas Partey against Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Gunners had to do without their ace central midfielder for the top of the table clash at home.
The Premier League game was decided in City's favor, with the Citizens winning 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
Partey was replaced by Jorginho in the starting line-up, as he had a muscle injury, per football.london.
While the Italian was respectable, he did not have the same energy and recovery pace as Partey.
City were able to excel on the counter attack against Arsenal, with Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, and Erling Haaland scoring their goals.
