Arsenal are opening new contract talks with Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli, 21, is set to receive a huge pay rise as he continues to impress at the North London club.
PA Sport says discussions have started to ensure the Brazilian stays at the Emirates for many years ahead.
His existing contract expires in the summer of 2024, with an additional option for the Gunners to extend by a year.
Mikel Arteta's side have started the season in flying form, gaining nine points from their first three games.
