Arsenal are stepping up their interest in Montpellier striker Elye Wahi.
Wahi has scored 17 goals and six assists in 32 games in Ligue 1.
The France U21 international has previously been placed in clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham, Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
Now Foot Mercato reports it is Arsenal who are leading the hunt for Wahi and that they are preparing a first bid for the youngster.
However, the English giants may face serious competition from Monaco.
The player's price tag is said to be 30-35m.
