Premier League giants Arsenal are closing in on a deal for teenage star Brayden Clarke.

The Gunners, per The Standard, are eager to sign the youngster who has left Wolves.

The 16-year-old has been tipped to have a very bright future in the game by scouts.

Clarke is the son of former Scotland international Nigel Quashie, and has played for Wales at U-17 level so far.

After 7 years at Wolves, the time has come for me to move onto a new chapter," he wrote on social media.

I want to thank everybody who has helped me along the journey and I wish all of my team-mates at Wolves the best of luck for the future."
