Arsenal chiefs are confident Bukayo Saka will accept new contract terms tabled.

The Daily Mail says the new deal would see the England international become one of the Gunners' best paid players as he'd 'double' his current £70,000-per-week deal.

The report adds talks have been ongoing for some time but they've now formally offered the extension in hopes of tying him down long-term.

Saka currently has two years left on his deal at the Emirates and has been the subject of interest from both Liverpool and Manchester City in recent times.

The report suggests the 20-year-old is yet to formally respond to the offer, but there is a 'growing confidence' at the club a deal will be struck.
