Arsenal chiefs believe they can land West Ham captain Declan Rice for a knockdown fee.
The north Londoners are said to be targeting a summer move for Rice as they look to bolster their squad in their quest to dominate the Premier League over the coming years.
Hammers manager David Moyes recently insisted that rival clubs would have to stump up a British transfer record to land Rice. The record currently stands at 107million, which is the amount Chelsea paid Benfica for World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez in January.
But according to Goal.com, Arsenal could try to prise the 24-year-old away from London Stadium for less than that, which could risk annoying West Ham.
He'll be a British transfer record if he ever leaves West Ham," Moyes said last month as he addressed Rice's future. And when asked whether the star's departure was inevitable, the Scot added: I hope it's not. I hope he sees his time here."
