  • The Artemis II mission is scheduled to launch today, marking the first human journey to the Moon since the Apollo missions in 1972.
  • NASA's countdown has commenced at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, with the mission targeted to launch at 6:24 p.m. EST (or 11.24pm GMT) on Wednesday, April 1.
  • Live broadcast coverage of the SLS rocket's tanking operations will commence on April 1 at 7:45 a.m EST on NASA’s YouTube channel, offering live views and audio commentary as propellant is loaded.
  • Full coverage will then transition to NASA+ from 12:50 p.m. EST.
  • Like all rocket launches, the launch could be postponed if weather conditions prove unfavourable or another technical issue emerges.
