Under pressure from the Trump administration, Cuba's government has announced a sweeping package of economic reforms, but the island is still running on empty with electricity and fuel rationed to a trickle.

Cubans, many of whom have access to around just two hours of electricity each day, are becoming increasingly frustrated.

“Right now, we’re speaking out because we can’t take it anymore,” one Havana resident told FRANCE 24. “Right now, there’s no power. They turn it on then cut it again. It’s abuse what they’re putting us through."
