Ashley Fletcher has returned to Watford after his loan deal with NY Red Bulls expired.
Fletcher joined the MLS club in February, but he managed just seven appearances.
NY Red Bulls rejected an option to sign the 26-year-old on permanently.
Red Bulls sporting Director Denis Hamlett told the club website: "We want to thank Ashley for his time with the club, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
