Ashton Kutcher takes on a chilling new role in “The Beauty,” a high-stakes thriller from Ryan Murphy, set to premiere on Disney+ January 22.

Kutcher plays a mysterious tech billionaire known only as “The Corporation,” the mastermind behind a viral miracle drug that promises physical perfection—at a horrifying cost. Determined to protect his trillion-dollar empire, he unleashes a lethal enforcer known as “The Assassin” (Anthony Ramos) to silence anyone who gets too close to the truth.

The 11-episode FX series opens with a wave of gruesome deaths in the global fashion scene. FBI agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) are sent to Paris to investigate, only to uncover a sexually transmitted virus that transforms its victims into flawless versions of themselves. As the virus spreads across continents, the agents race against time to stop an epidemic engineered to seduce—and destroy—humanity.

Caught in the chaos is Jeremy (Jeremy Pope), a desperate outsider who finds himself at the center of the unfolding crisis, even as it spans Paris, Venice, Rome, and New York.

“The Beauty” also features an ensemble of guest stars, including Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Isabella Rossellini, Vincent D’Onofrio, Billy Eichner, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Jon Jon Briones, Meghan Trainor, and more.

Created by Ryan Murphy and Matthew Hodgson, the series is based on the comic book by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. It is produced by 20th Television and executive produced by Murphy, Hodgson, Peters, Ramos, Pope, and a full team that includes Alexis Martin Woodall and Eric Gitter.

Disney+ subscribers can stream the first three episodes starting January 22, with new episodes released every Thursday. The final two weeks will feature two-episode drops. Parental control settings are available to manage access to mature content.
