Newcastle United sporting director Dan Ashworth reportedly held talks with Manchester United's yet to be appointed CEO Omar Berrarda.
The latter has not yet completed his gardening leave at Manchester City to officially take the job.
Meanwhile, Ashworth is still a Newcastle United employee, as they have not agreed terms with Man United for his exit.
Per The Mail, Ashworth was communicating with Berrada through email about his Newcastle contract.
However, he managed to accidentally BCC his Newcastle email address in the exchange.
Now there is a suggestion that Berrada may have violated his gardening leave at City by sending those emails.
