Kota Kinabalu: Asian Tourism Institution (ATI) College Sabah was one of the recipients of renowned international award, BrandLaureate Awards 2021-2022 for Corporate Excellence in Education – Hospitality & Tourism, which took place at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on Aug 25, this year.

Receiving the award was the Executive Chairman of ATI College, Datuk Seri Wong Khen Thau. “

Other higher learning institutions that received the award included UITM and UKM, among others.

“The success of this award is not for ATI College alone.

“But also for the team at the college, for the students and also for the industries who have been supporting the college’s goal in producing competent workforce,” he said.

The BrandLaureate is an authority in Brands and Branding. Since 2005, it has recognised and awarded 1,500 top brands, and 500 international brand personalities in over 80 countries.

Wong said winning The BrandLaureate Best Brands Awards 2022 is special and significant as it denotes the brand’s leadership in branding to arrive at the pinnacle position.

He said ATI College offers Diploma courses in Business and Accountancy, Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts, Events Management and Hotel Management, Diving & Resort Management and Tourism Management with intakes either January, May or October.

Under the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia certification, he said the college delivers Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts for Level 2 and Regional Specific Tourist Guide Course (RSTG) for Level 3.
