
TAWAU: Another assault case involving a suspected "homewrecker" has left a 29-year-old Indonesian woman injured after being attacked by five women at a flat in the town centre on Tuesday.
The woman, an online cosmetics seller, suffered multiple injuries, including bleeding from her right eye, bruising on her face, arms, and thighs, as well as chest pain and shortness of breath.
AdvertisementDistrict police chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the victim was assaulted with a television, threatened with scissors, and nearly had chilli rubbed into her private parts during the brutal attack.
The victim reported the incident on Wednesday, stating that the women, whom she knew, arrived at her home and assaulted her.

The case is being investigated under several sections of the Penal Code and the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, with the incident also going viral on social media.
