Aston Villa boss Unai Emery says the home fans were key to victory over Crystal Palace.

Palace had the lead through Odsonne Edouard before Jhon Duran struck an equaliser on 87 minutes. Douglas Luiz converted a penalty in injury-time won by Ollie Watkins ahead of Leon Bailey wrapping up the points.

I'm very happy," he said.

We're very excited to play every match here with our supporters. We have now won ten matches in a row, but the challenge is harder and more difficult in our way.

Today we started losing we didn't start losing the other matches and our reaction was fantastic. Not tactically because after their goal we were losing our structure, but we played with our heart and our mind.

We needed the supporters and I think the atmosphere was fantastic to get this reaction.

In the first half we played very well and controlled the game like we have been doing at home. We created chances; we didn't score but we created good chances to score and we didn't concede chances to them.

The second half was completely different because they scored and it changed everything. I'm very happy today."
