Aston Villa boss Unai Emery hopes Emi Buendia will train again this season.
Buendia is currently recovering from ACL surgery.
The attacker tore a cruciate ligament in training in August and has not been able to play this season.
"Hopefully he will be able to train towards the end of the season," said Emery, who also said he does not expect Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings to be available for the rest of the season.
