Aston Villa defender Kerr Smith has seen his loan with St Johnstone canceled.
Smith has suffered a injury after moving to Scotland in January.
St Johnstone manager Craig Levein said: "It is unfortunate the way things have worked out for Kerr but I would like to personally thank him for his efforts during his time on loan at the club.
"I wish him well for the future back at Aston Villa."
Kerr penned a new deal with Villa before leaving for St Johnstone.
