Youri Tielemans, Pau Torres, Moussa Diaby, Nicolo Zaniolo and Clement Lenglet all arrived in the summer.
Per Portuguese outlet Record, they are now looking at Sporting's Pedro Goncalves and Benfica's Fredrik Aursnes.
Goncalves is a winger who can fill in as a central midfielder, while Aursnes is a central midfielder who can also play at left-back.
The versatility of both players is hugely appealing to Villa boss Unai Emery.
