Aston Villa are in talks with Arsenal over young left-back Nuno Tavares.
The Midlands club, who have ex-Gunners boss Unai Emery in charge, want a new full-back.
Tavares was linked to Nottingham Forest, but that deal appears to have fallen through.
Per The Mail, he is now a serious Villa target, who are also looking at Marcos Acuna of Sevilla.
The Argentine is the one with the greater experience, but Tavares has youth and energy on his side.
He may also have much lower wage demands, given he is a backup at Arsenal, while Acuna is a starter for Sevilla.
