Emi Buendia is happy getting a first preseason with Aston Villa boss Unai Emery under his belt.
Emery is taking his first preseason as Villa manager this summer.
"I'm trying to give my best every year," Buendia said.
Circumstances always change a little bit, but I'm back for this pre-season ready to work as hard as possible and help the team and the club to keep going."
The Argentine added: We're going to work hard in our style, in our philosophy. We've shown already in the last few months since we've been working with the new staff how we want to work and how we want to play.
Working with them from the beginning of the season is going to be excellent for everyone in the team to prepare well for the start of the season."
