Aston Villa midfielder Boubacar Kamara missed training on Tuesday with the French national side.
Kamara is part of the senior France squad with manager Didier Deschamps, as they prepare for Euro 2024 qualifiers.
The 23-year-old earned a call-up for his impressive displays so far with Villa this season.
However, he may miss either or both of the games against Gibraltar on Saturday and Greece next Tuesday.
Kamara has a foot problem that he picked up during Villa's Premier League win over Fulham on Sunday.
He has been an ever present for manager Unai Emery this season, starting all 12 games in the league.
