Aston Villa are shopping for midfielders after clinching Champions League football for next season.
The Telegraph says Aston Villa are entering the hunt for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, 24.
Gallagher has been linked away from the London club for a some time. Newcastle United and Tottenham are also said to be interested.
Chelsea want to sell the midfielder to avoid the risk of losing him as a Bosman when his contract expires in 2025.
Aston Villa are considering a swap deal with Chelsea for Gallagher - sending Ecuadorian striker Jhon Durn, 20, the other way.
At the same time, Villa have started talks about signing Ross Barkley, 30, from Luton Town.
