Aston Villa are reportedly targeting a move for RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.
The 30-year-old has struggled for playing time in the opening weeks of the season under manager Domenico Tedesco.
Villa could take advantage of the situation should Forsberg look to leave, according to German publication Bild.
The Premier League are understood to stand above other potential suitors.
Forsberg, who represents Sweden, produced 15 goal contributions in 46 appearances last term.
