
KUALA LUMPUR - Astro has launched its ‘Inilah KITA’ campaign, set to run from 15 August to 16 September 2024, in conjunction with National and Malaysia Day. The campaign aims to celebrate unity in diversity and make a positive impact within communities across Malaysia.
Exclusive Content on KITA Channel (CH100)
Astro, a homegrown Malaysian brand, celebrates the best of Malaysian stories and entertainment through the KITA Channel (CH100), which will feature over 100 curated titles from 15 August to 16 September on Astro, NJOI and sooka.
Astro customers can also enjoy a free preview of six channels from 30 August to 16 September, namely SHOWCASE (CH413), HITS MOVIES (CH401), tvN Movies (CH416), HITS NOW (CH702), Zee Cinema (CH251), and ABO Movies Thangathirai (CH241).

Viewers can look forward to new and premiering titles, including:

- Lion Girl: A drama about Sakina, starring Erysha Emyra, who becomes a lion dancer, overcoming challenges in her pursuit of dreams.
- Rombongan Makciks Ke Dataran Merdeka: A drama featuring Rozita Che Wan, Mandy Chong, and Satthiya Kandi, highlighting resilience and camaraderie in their journey to see their family in a Fire Brigade procession.
- The Music Journey: A music program showcasing Malaysian singers as they reinterpret beloved original songs at iconic spots across Malaysia.
- Pasanga Season 2: Malaysia’s most-watched local Tamil series by Denes Kumar, reflecting family bonds and overcoming adversity.
- Oga & Friends: A new homegrown animation series from the studio that created Didi & Friends promoting environmental conservation.
Special episodes of Family Feud Malaysia and other popular shows such as Hantu Karipap and Terompak Sana Tertukar Sini will also be featured.
SYOK FEST KITA and KITA FM’s Special Broadcast

From 6 to 8 September, Astro invites Malaysians to experience SYOK FEST KITA at Setia City Park Oval Lawn, featuring performances by over 25 local artists, including Floor 88, Hattan, Misha Omar, and more. Astro Radio’s KITA FM will host a special LIVE outdoor broadcast on 6 September, involving 13 radio stations in four languages as they interact with the public.
