A NEW lineup of ROG Strix gaming laptops featuring Intel Core Ultra processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series graphics is now available in the Philippines.
The 2026 ROG Strix G16 and G18 models come with 2.5K ROG Nebula displays featuring refresh rates of up to 300Hz. The laptops are equipped with Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors and can be configured with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 laptop graphics.
ASUS said the models include an updated cooling system that combines vapor chambers, Tri-Fan technology and liquid-metal thermal material designed to help sustain performance during gaming and other intensive workloads.
The Strix G16 starts at P159,995 for the RTX 5050 configuration and reaches P319,995 for the RTX 5080 version. The Strix G18, equipped with an RTX 5070 Ti graphics processor, is priced at P244,995.
The company also introduced the Strix SCAR 18, an 18-inch gaming laptop featuring a 4K Mini LED display with a 240Hz refresh rate. ASUS said the display includes more than 2,000 dimming zones and supports its ROG Nebula ELMB technology.
The model can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 laptop graphics processor. ASUS said the system supports total power levels of up to 320 watts in Manual Mode and incorporates an updated thermal design.
According to ASUS, the 2026 Strix series features a tool-less access system that allows users to upgrade memory and storage components more easily. The laptops also include customizable Aura RGB lighting, while the Strix SCAR 18 retains the AniMe Vision LED display integrated into the lid.
The laptops are available through authorized ASUS retailers nationwide. Purchases include a three-year international and local warranty, one year of accidental damage protection, a gaming mouse, a backpack and bundled software subscriptions.
