ASUS has introduced three new ROG Strix OLED gaming monitors, comprising the XG27AQDMG Gen2 (also called XG27AQDMGR), XG27ACDMS and XG27AQDMES models. All three share the same QHD resolution and 26.5-inch panel size, and they’re positioned as the “accessible entry points” within the ROG range – of course, the term “accessible” is relative in this case.
New ROG Strix OLED Monitors

A quick overview of three monitors, starting with the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2: it features a 26.5-inch WOLED panel TrueBlack Glossy WOLED treatment to reduce glare, with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time; brightness and color-wise, it’s got a 1,300-nit HDR peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 gamut coverage with Delta-E of <2, 10-bit color support, plus VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. For its I/O, it features a DisplayPort 1.4 output, plus two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports and a pair of USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) Type-A ports.

Next, the ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS uses a semi-glossy 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with the same QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, with a slightly faster 280Hz refresh rate at 0.03ms response time, along with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits (full white panel brightness is listed as 250 nits). It’s got the same color performance as the aforementioned WOLED model, including the same VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. It’s also got USB-C port that delivers up to 15W of power (as well as operating in DisplayPort Alt Mode), on top of one DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 FRL output each.
Lastly, the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES offers a same QD-OLED panel with the exception of a slightly slower refresh rate at a still-rapid 240Hz, although the peak brightness is much lower this time, at just 400 nits (full panel brightness also maxes out at just 200 nits). That said, it continues to feature the same color performance as the other two, though notably this lacks any DisplayHDR certification. It features the same I/O as the XG27AQDMG Gen 2, meaning one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports.
ASUS says the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2 (XG27AQDMGR) is priced at RM2,840, while the ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS is priced at RM3,295 – both are now available nationwide through authorized dealers. The ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES, priced at RM2,400, is scheduled to be available in Malaysia by the end of April 2026.
Pokdepinion: Pretty capable monitors by the looks of it.
