Asus ProArt P14 and P16 with RTX Spark now open for pre-order in Malaysia, from RM29,999

Asus have now confirmed the arrival of the new ProArt 14 and ProArt 16 in Malaysia. These aren’t just your regular powerful productivity machines though, as these latest models are powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform, with a heavy focus on local AI agents.

Both the ProArt P14 and P16 are now open for pre-orders in Malaysia via the Asus eStore till 31 October. Priced at RM29,999 for either laptop, all pre-orders will come bundled with the ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV monitor worth RM4,250 while stocks last.

You’ll also get a 2-year international warranty and 2-year Asus Perfect Warranty, along with a bundled laptop sleeve, ProArt Mouse MD301 and a suite of software which includes Microsoft Home & Student 2024, 1 year of Microsoft 365 Basic with 100GB cloud storage, a 3-month Google AI Pro subscription, 6-month Dropbox 500GB subscription, 1-year Asus Secure Auto-Backup 200GB subscription and 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

ProArt P14 and ProArt P16 specs

The highlight here is of course under the hood, being one of the first laptops in Malaysia to be powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform. This means you’re getting a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU with Blackwell RTX GPU, fifth generation Tensor Cores with FP4 support and NVIDIA NVLink-C2C interconnect technology for an AI-ready platform in a portable machine, with up to 1 petabyte FP4 AI performance. Helping make all of happen is also 128GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB SSD.

As for the rest of the machine, you’re getting 16-inch and 14-inch Asus Lumina Pro OLED panels on the P16 and P14 respectively, with the larger one getting a 4K resolution while the smaller one has a 3K resolution instead. Both come in a 16:10 aspect ratio with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 0.2ms response time, full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, VESA certified DisplayHDR True Black 1000 along with a 1600nits peak brightness on the P16 and 1100nits peak brightness on the P14.

On top of that, there’s three USB4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, a HDMI 2.1 FRL output, a 3.5mm combo audio jack and a full size SD card reader on the P16, while the P14 gets a microSD card slot instead. The larger ProArt also gets a 99Wh battery, though the P14 still gets a respectable 90Wh battery.

Other features of note include a FHD IR 3DNR webcam, a backlit chiclet keyboard with 1.7mm key-travel, a haptic touchpad, six speakers and a Nano Black or Neo White finish with anti-smudge surface treatments.
