Gasperini said, "Three games to go and there are 9 points up for grabs, from the next one we have to go back to being a motivated Atalanta which has nevertheless allowed us to play another good championship.
"Now the only thing that counts is getting to Europe and closing in the best possible way.
"Unfortunately today we failed in many aspects and Salernitana won the game because they believed in it more and until the end. We broke up and it must never happen again."
